Agent API & MCP

Point an AI agent at StockCraft and let it run your store — read your data, update the fiddly bits, and load a whole catalog in minutes. Available on every plan.

Low-friction onboarding: instead of filling in products by hand or wrangling a CSV, connect an agent and bulk-load your catalog, materials, and components in one go. Bulk import is included on all plans.

What it is

StockCraft exposes a secure, tenant-isolated Agent API and a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Any MCP-capable agent — OpenClaw, Claude, or your own tooling — connects with a single API key and can then read and operate your store: manage products (including material costs, components, and the fiddly cost inputs), record finances, manage market bookings, report on orders and profit, and make bulk changes that are awkward to do by hand.

Secure by design

Safe bulk changes

Powerful bulk operations — "set the cost on every material from this supplier", "recategorise these products" — always run as a dry-run first. You see exactly how many rows will change, a before-and-after preview, and how the change ripples through your product costs, before anything is applied. Bulk edits run through the same logic as the app itself, so your cost roll-ups stay correct.

What an agent can do

Getting started: go to Settings → Agent API keys, create a key with the scopes your agent needs, and point your MCP client at your StockCraft /mcp endpoint with the key as a bearer token. The full developer reference ships with the app.

Plans

The Agent API and MCP — reading, writing, recording finances, and bulk import — are available on every plan, including Free. Bulk mutation of existing data (mass edits across a filter) is a Plus feature.
